The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
I came into a 510 Tuner recently and have renewed the caps and resistors as necessary. I have the schematic for the Tuner and also the Power Supply/Audio Amp. I built my own power supply/amp with 6L6s and a 6SN7 and diode rectification because one did not come with the tuner. Now I need the alignment instructions for the tuner or better yet, the Service Manual. Would anyone out there have a .pdf that would help?? Thanks very much, best, Steve

Would anyone have the 12 pin female plug with the key like on an octal tube base used on the Scott 510 tuner to connect to the power supply/amp chassis? Thanks very much.
510 Tuner question: My chassis has an extra octal tube 6SC7 - shock mounted with rubber fastenings to the chassis on the back right portion (looking at the back). This tube is not on the schematic or in the service manual but it appears to be a professional (maybe factory) installation. It is nicely wired into the circuit. Would anyone have any info on this tube being added to the 510 maybe as a production change along the way? All other 9 tubes are where they should be. Thanks.
Terrific, Kent. Thank you. I missed it in Late Sets when I looked before. best, steve
Both the Owner's and Technical manuals for the 510 can be found in the Scott Info Archive link above. Set Folders -> Late Sets and you should find PDFs for your set. Good luck, you'll enjoy it when you get it playing.
