The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
Hello,
I am inquiring as to the value of the attached radio. I appreciate any advice you can provide.

Appears to be the 1935 first version - 5 control knobs. The colorful dial insert is the type used starting mid 1936, so is probably a replacement on your example.
Be careful not to damage the multi pin plug.
Thank you for your reply. What I have pictured are the only parts I have.

Hello and welcome!
This set is the Allwave High Fidelity, manufactured from 1935-37. Is this the only part you have? There should also be a large power supply chassis and a speaker system. What you have pictured is just the tuner. Chrome condition is important, this set has some rust and bubbling - but I have seen worse. Those are not original knobs but you do have the panel and escutcheons.
There is a big difference in value for just a tuner vs a complete set. Let me know if you have any other parts. Someone will certainly want even a separate tuner...
