The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Today the 800B tuner chassis I bought off eBay for $75 arrived. It seems to have traveled none the worse for wear. I was rather surprised to find that just this tuner weighs as much as my whole SLRM, or seems to just picking it up. I haven't actually weighed it. Now that it has arrived, here are some pictures of it...

It was the picture of the inside of the chassis that prompted me to buy it. The outside my look grungy, but the inside is pristine!

Yup, Dave; this site's archives was the first place I checked. I downloaded everything in the folder. I have a good copy of the Riders, the one on 4 DVDs, so I'll have to check volume 15 and see what it has. When I get around to actually working on the radio, I'll print out much of it. I prefer a paper hard copy to refer to while I work.

FYI - with a Ser# below 2000, it is the early version. Riders Vol 15 has many pages of info.
