"The broken keyway of the octal plug pictured can be remedied. Bob Dobush findatube.com sell a wafer with keyway that slips over the broken octal plug (or octal tube base). Determine the proper orientation and glue Bob's item in place."

"Buy a keyway to replace the broken off keyway. The replacement keyway fits over all the pins. A careful inspection of your broken plug should reveal how to orient the new keyway, but you need to do some tracing to be sure - refer to the Scott…"

"The rarity and value of a Scott radio depends on the model and cabinet.  Post photos of the cabinet and chassis including speaker(s) and we will be glad to help. Norman "

Rarity and Value

Thanks for adding me to your ranks ! Looks like I will be getting an old Scott Cabinet radio Saturday. Elderly lady I know is moving / downsizing and is giving me the last of her late husbands radio collection. After he retired , he restored older radios so most likely they are in working condition. Just wondering if this is very rare and what the value might be. Thanks. Jay
