The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

I recently acquired a Scott Phantom. This is the seven knob version ( pre Phantom Deluxe). My question is, were the power supply circuits the same for all Phantom models? I am using the schematic for the Phantom Deluxe power supply and it doesn't seem to match my power supply. I suspect that the power supply is not original to the chassis. It does match the photo of a six knob Phantom power supply in Jim Clark's book. There is not a photo of seven knob version. The photo of the FM Phantom is different. My power supply also matches the photo of the model Eighteen. I hope this makes sense, obviously I'm confused.

Also, I am missing the small power transformer cover ( the cover that snaps on). Is this the same cover used on other models or was it unique to the Phantom?

I believe I solved my problem.

Apparently Scott changed the design of the power supply when they came out with the FM model of the Phantom. The schematic I was using was for the FM version. I have since found a schematic dated October 21, 1938 that matches my power supply.
