Thanks Scott and Kent.... and I agree, without knowing the status of the transformers this could be just another boat anchor. ( I have plenty of those now ). I've actually created a functioning power/amplifier for my AW23 that works quite well. I think I'll stick with that one, until I can confirm a rebuildable chassis. Steve

That one would leave me really concerned about the power transformer.  The only way to take those chrome covers off the sides would be to take the transformer apart, unlike the chokes where the side covers just snap on and off. 

This one is $375 obo, and if you can get him down and get him to ship, it looks very restorable.
