To All:Presently there is an oil painting reported to be of EHS on eBay. The painting dates from 1914. While this may indeed be a painting of someone named EHS, this oil isn't a painting of the EHS we know.In 1993 I visited New Zealand and spent a month with the relatives of EHS. I have several photographs in my collection from the family of EHS and a few of these date from this period. The oil painting on eBay isn't the EHS that we know. Battery Allwave, 6 volt

Posted on April 26, 2017 at 7:01pm 0 Comments

Does anyone have an idea of what speaker went with the Battery Allwave sets of the early 1930s?

These would be the 6 volt and 2 volt Allwave receivers.

Cheers,

John

Ravinia Grande Cabinets

Posted on September 2, 2013 at 2:19pm 1 Comment

To All,

I have two different size Ravinia Grande cabinets.  The smaller one contains a pointer dial Philharmonic and garrard turntable.  The larger (wider) cabinet contains a Presto Record Lathe and turntable abet no turner or face board.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

John
