"Scott service data identifies R92 as 300-ohms, 10-watts on the schematic and parts list.  R91 and R93 are both 3000-ohms, 10-watts which may lead to confusion.  The 300-ohm resistor is correct. Norman"

"Yes.  The early version used the single pin plug and the later version used the two pin plug.  The electrical differences are minor but the plug or socket must be changed if mixing versions of the tuner chassis with the power amplifier…"

"I would not consider either version better than the other.  Please be aware that they are not completely compatible.  The FM signal plug differed between the two versions."

scott 800 b

i have built 5 philco so far they gave me more problems with rubber wiring and every thing so close together i just bought a Scott 800 b and the room is great to beable to see all the parts and replacement so easy.the Scott is in good cond

have not had time to give a good look in the same deal i picked up 1 hallicrafter tw-500 and 2 zenith t-600 so i well be at it for awhile i'am past  mid 70's being a widower i have some time glad to be here i am a member with the philco…
