The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Hi Everyone!

I just joined the forum with the hope to eventually get myself a Philharmonic. It's one of the things on my bucket list. I've learned a lot about the different versions so far and would like to say Thank You! to Norman Braithwaite for answering some of my questions and pointing me to the archives here so that I could learn more. This is a great board and from what I've seen so far there are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful folks.

HI Chris,

Welcome! I am a newer member on the forum, and it is a wealth of information, with lots of very knowledgeable members.

Welcome Chris.  I wish you luck in your pursuit of a Philharmonic.  They are not for the faint of heart, but my favorite radio by far.   Are you looking for a compete set with cabinet? or are you willing to purchase separate pieces?

Scott and Brad, thanks for the welcome!  I'm looking for a complete radio. If I could find one with a Warrington cabinet I'd be in heaven. I restore cabinets along with electronics, so if I found one that was complete but needed a refinish I could do that. I think I'm up for the electronic restoration. I've been studying the schematics and would love to give it a go!

Hi neighbor, and welcome!  Nice to see you here!

I don't post often, and mostly on McMurdo Silver threads, but you'll see me around.
