The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Folks...member Bill Liers inadvertently got Norman and I discussing letterheads this week. I dug out my original materials and found a number of different examples ranging from the 20s to the 50s. I have put one photocopy example up here on the board...if anyone has an original using this letterhead, I would really appreciate a good scan of it in color. I will be posting some other examples soon. Thanks in advance!

Kent,

A couple more letterheads for the files...

Thanks Bill...both of those were fairly "long runs" used for several years. I've been cataloging the letterheads, I really need to get an article together on this subject.

Kent,

Don't have the 1930 letterhead you're looking for but did find a copy of this one. Interesting as a transitional, maybe the first as S.R.L. ?

Bill -  Yes, I've got some examples of this one too....and you're right, it is a transitional header. Scott did quite a bit of advertising with the "formerly..." wording on it. There is advertising and price lists marked like this too. I need to send you an email about those letters you have too....I can tell you a little more about them.
