The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
Carlos found several patents related to Scott and some of the engineers that worked for the Labs. I have tracked this for some time and have a list of patents that are assigned to or associated with Scott Radio Labs. You can use Google to search patents easily, and doing so you will find that Murray Clay was a prolific inventor. Other contributors included Marvin Hobbs, George Roethel, and Ernest Pfaff. The list of patents I have includes:
1,812,998
1,839,714
1,986,525
2,003,608
2,029,461
2,035,668
2,068,110
2,123,027
2,172,922
2,172,923
2,226,488
2,231,863
2,271,100
2,311,902
2,314,309
and also one British patent: 519,486
If you find any others in your digging, please let me know! Thanks!

How about the Rockford cabinet patents too ?
Yes, those are "design patents", I've seen a few but don't have a comprehensive list of them. Most of these patents were done by A. C. Haggstrom. I'll see what I can find.
For Bruce and all...here are some of Haggstrom's design patents. He was a prolific designer who was alive back in the 90s at least.
