Hello all, thank you for allowing me on your site. I have learned a considerable amount browsing the various topics.

I came here specifically because I saved a Scott Phantom with the remote option in a Louis XV cabinet from going to the dumpster recently and am looking to find it a home. I am not a collector I just could not see this beautiful radio destroyed. Please let me know if anyone is interested in it before I dismantle it and put he pieces on eBay.

Hi Blade.   Nice save.  

I like it too. Evidently the keypad and flat cable for the remote control are gone. Otherwise looks nice.  Appears Just some TLC on the cabinet and replacement speaker cloth. Will need extensive electrical restoration.  

I would like a photo from the rear to show the speaker and the amp/power supply. Of cabinet top too.

And how is the condition of the chrome plate. The cabinet legs ok?

Hello David, The legs on the cabinet are in great condition. I have attached some more photos showing what you asked for. The photo of the cabinet came out fairly dark, it is much lighter in real life and is in pretty good condition. showing some scratches and normal wear for its age.
