Several versions, one was metal. For the 12 tube Allwave Deluxe 1932 to early 1934.
Maybe there was a version for the 1931 2-DIAL, I don't know.
To help translate meters and frequency and relate to the Scott radio SW band 1 to 100 scale dial.
Starting with the 1934 model Fifteen (AW-15), the short wave bands were calibrated.
