Was thinking you may not have these instructions?  Need to add one more page, but will not let me?  Not sure the first three will come through even though they show they are attached, in jpg, will…Continue

At some point will need to purchase a pair of tweeters for my Allwave 23.  MIght anyone know what the ohm readings might be on each driver?  Would like to make sure that is correct before I commit to…Continue

I see my two scotts rotation pictures here, can I add some other brands to the rotation?

My Allwave 23 at some point had the two tweeters removed.  I see a  few pair on ebay, I might try to purchase.  All look great from the pictures, but would like the sellers to give me the ohms from each one.  I figure if the ohms are correct there is a good chance they may work?  Can anyone supply me with the correct ohms readings from the pins?  I might be able to convince a couple of them them to check the ohms to give me a better chance of getting a good pair?  Two of the sellers states they have never been attached by them to be tested.  I don't want so spend over a thousand dollars without at least having a good chance that they are working.  Thanks in advance.  Todd

Allwave 23

Posted on May 23, 2020 at 7:00pm 2 Comments

I have my Allwave 23 sitting next to a couple other radios, found this tag on the floor, belong to the Scott?  If so where might it have been stuck?  I don't see any places inside of the cabinet where this might have been.  Also just starting to mount the receiver into the cabinet.  Since this receiver was not bolted from the bottom how do you know when it is pushed forward enough?  Stop when it is close to the inside front of cabinet, or should there be some sort of spacer, or stops on the…

As to the switch on the amp chassis, it selects either 110 or 120 volt power. The switch on the leads from the amp is the power switch and mounts in the hole on the top right side of the cabinet.

Hi Todd:

Welcome to the list.  I have an Allwave23 in the smaller version of your cabinet, also minus the tweeters.  I have done a recap on the radio chassis, and had a new power transformer built.  It plays ok, but the alignment is way off.

These are great radios.
