The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
E.H. Scott Philharmonic in the Warrington cabinet. My set is totally original and was purchased from the original owner's son in 1990. This set came with the fifteen (15) inch base speaker and two (2) five inch speakers.

I do play my CD player via some vintage radios, sound good!
Your Scott has two tuning eyes - this is normally done in sets with both, AM and FM and normally these sets are dated somewere around 1941, like Philharmonic AM/FM.
But now I am looking at front page of Scott News Vol 2 from 1937 - and there E.H Scott presents "The new Scott Philharmonic" with two tuning indicators, and pointer dial, exactly like yours! So your set should be indeed from 1937. The schematics does not say "FM", they call this band "UHF". I guess, the term "FM" was not probaly widely used at that time...

This is for sure museum level radio. Fantastic.
One question though: this is (an early) FM set. Was FM available in 1937?

How do the 2 tweeters plug into the 15" speaker ?
My 15" pedestal speakers only have a single 2 pin plug-in and the tweeters I have each have a cord with 2 pins. I suspect perhaps I am missing some sort of crossover perhaps, similar to the setup used on the 4 piece Hi-Fi option.
