Hello Merle,

I have a very nice Scott Phantom Deluxe Acousticraft Allwave 23 for sale which I purchased from upstanding member Y2KBruce some months back. Need to make room for other sets of various makes for variety as I have located my favorite Scott now. If you are interested please contact me at sms@bee.net and I can send more information and photos. Thanks, Sam Samuelian

Kent's Acousticraft has become one of my weekly players and sounds great.

I sold my AM/FM Phantom Acousticraft this year and it may be available in the New England area. PM me for contact info.

Having a fixed top lid keeps them relatively cheap to acquire. Keep your eyes peeled for nice Accousticraft, i just don't have the time right now to deal with another project, but i appreciate the offer., Merle

Merle, I agree with your preference to be able to open the top and see the chrome. The Accousticraft top is glued down rather than being hinged, as you may know. My project Sixteen also needs some re- glueing and the top is loose. So, I may convert it to a hinge top, something I did successfully for a very rough McMurdo Silver cabinet for a MP-III.

My other Sixteen/Accousticraft is very nice original finish, and chrome chassis 98% and superb original cloth. Curiously, it has a darker walnut color than any ot the other Accousticrafts I have ever seen. Being a very low serial number, perhaps the first few cabinets were darker and subsequently the finish was lighter medium brown to better show the nice booked veneer. Kent's was very nice - he lives about a half hour from me.

Hello Dave, I have the Imperial A/W23 as well with out the record changer. I guess that would the standard Roslyn. I've seen a few with the record changer (Roslyn Grand?) on top which is also nice but personally i prefer to see the shiny stuff when i open the top lid. Scott really stepped up on the quality use of exotic veneer's on the Roslyn. I've only seen a handful since i've been collecting. The Philly version must be impressive and huge! There's probably not many of those around. Aside from the Accousticraft, i have a  Stamford (73) in an AW/23 on my bucket list. They're a different sort of design but still a very impressive set. I have about 4 projects in the garage now, some i may part with, but i'll keep your Accousticraft in mind if i don't find a turn key set. Thanks for check'in in.,...Merle

Hi Merle - the Roslyn is a wonderful design. I have the standard with an AW-23 (from the Doc Muchow estate sale). I have seen the Roslyn Grand with a Philly - impressive. What model goes into yours?

I have a fixer up Accousticraft awaiting restoration. Has to have new veneer on the top and part of right side and such, and cloth. otherwise it is complete and Is cut for a Sixteen. If you want a project, let me know - Dave Poland. Ohio)

This is one i've been meaning to pick up to put in the collection but seems like when they do come up for sale, i've got too many irons in the fire to pay for it, or just not good enough condition wise. The Sheild Grid 9 didn't quite make my reserve, but i think it may good trading material at some point. The restoration of the Roslyn Grand is coming along fine and should be putting it together after the Holidays. :)

Hello Kent, The Acoustifcraft is one of my favorites. Just curious if you ever sold it?
