Carlos:

I have this same changer, but with a slightly different tone arm. If the original cartridge is ceramic or crystal, it would be easier to replace the whole cartridge with a modern replacement. These track at several grams of force and I am not sure if the tracking force is adjustable. Shure and several other companies make dedicated 78 RPM magnetic cartridges. Tetrad made ceramic cartridges as well, and they are still available.Should have standard 1/2 inch mounting centers.

I have this record-changer model 56.It is the companion of the 800B´s sold in 1951.

I need to put in working order and I need a needle for it.
