The use of the early postal code "40" leads me to believe that it is a postwar unit. But a picture says a thousand words. If you can e-mail a photo to Braithwaites (at) sbcglobal "dot" net I may be able to identify the unit. Is the noise suppressor wired in to the radio?

Angelo: Congratulations on the acquisition. A dynamic noise suppressor is an unusual item to find connected to an Allwave Deluxe (Allwave 12, single dial). Is this one of the dynamic noise suppressors manufactured by HH Scott for Scott Radio Laboratories as an accessory for the Model 800B?
