Appears the dial and control escutcheons and also the cast metal band pointer knob are silver or chrome plated. I had always assumed they were bright gold like the AW-28 tube 'baby Quaranta" model circa 1936 examples I have seen.

David ... its a black and white image I had that I asked AI to remove the printing screens and to colorize the image. It's not perfect but the technology reads the black and white tones in the photos and can predict most colors to the original colors.
