The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
Looks like I am the new owner of my second AW23, bought that one in Montana on ebay. I will head down in the next couple of weeks and pick it up. If anyone had seen that one do you know what the name of the cabinet is.

Thank You Norman. Did I pay to much for it?

It has not shown up as a completed item for me to view yet. It is my understanding from an acquaintance that chrome on top surfaces is not great, the cabinet needs some work, and the receiver does not have tweeters. It was an inexpensive cabinet but is on the less common side. When I learn your liability I can comment on the wisdom of your purchase but my comments may be vague if unwise!

Just got back from Butte with my new to me 5 knob AW23. Condition is not to bad, the good thing being is it is 100% complete. I now look forward to getting both of them fixed up and working. The one nice thing about this is a Scott All Wave antenna coupler came with it and a couple of spare knobs as well.
For your records Kent the serial number is J-645 and sadly again there is no paper work with it.

The final selling price that I saw on Greg's new set was VERY reasonable IMO.
Picking these up in person is the best way to do it and gives the buyer a chance to talk for a while with the seller to learn the history of that specific radio. Every radio I have has a history and learning that is a cool part of the collecting fun to me.
Bruce, There is not much history to go with this radio, It was a trade 30 years ago from another collector in Helena Montana.
Thats it.
