The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Be nice to add photos of any other late 1920's Scott cabinets.  Just looked through the photos.

So far, I see the spectacular Chatham (16), and Versailles (81)  as well as the Orleans (51),   Milford (38),   and the huge desk style Wellington (89).

Regarding the Orleans, my photo is of the "late" version in Walnut with the revision for the 2-Dial:  the receiver is above the speaker  and the top is hinged for easy access to use the various plug in coils. The early version Orleans for the SG9 and AC/10 had the speaker above the receiver and the speaker cut out was very different. Be a good addition to show the early version with the doors open, and if anyone has the Antique Oak version, even better.

Anyone have examples of other early Scott highboy cabinets not already uploaded ??

Thsr  is a circa 1930 or so cabinet with an AC 10 set that I bought from Mr Philco, Ron Ramirez a year ago.It is very similar to a factory Milford cabinet but is different in details like the speaker cutout.Doors slide into the side. I can not find it in any of my old brochures but I am convinced its a factory cabinet as it is so close to the others.

Hi Bruce,

Looks like you have a nice example. And I have seen this cabinet before.

There is one on ebay now (#  Item number: 120701235204) with an an early version 12 tube Allwave DeluxeAnd I believe Kent King has an example of this cabinet too. This cabinet is not in Jim Clark's Scott Guide, but the design is much like the Milford in Clark's Scott Guide. I have some early Scott literature, but none to document this cabinet. Anyone else?

Also, has anyone noticed how many of the Scott cabinet names are cities in New Zealand? (Tasman, Napier, etc)
