The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

I recently was gifted a Scott Radio cabinet and needed help identifying the radio and cabinet. The serial number is "1644."

Record player appears to be a Webcor. I have the 78 rpm version which needs work. Also had the 3 speed version many years ago.

Hummm. Ah So. Then  we overlooked including that cabinet variation in the 2nd edition of the Scott Guide.

Being that the radio was under one ownership for so long, I would pull out the chassis, and look to see if/what work was done to it previously, before deciding to use it. If the filter caps (at the very least) haven't been changed out recently, I wouldn't turn it on...you can burn up the transformers, and cause real damage.
