I will tell any potential buyers in the Chicago area...I have several very nice complete Phantom chassis for that cabinet, and I'll make you a good deal!

I bought it.  Red dial Phantom Deluxe.  Missing the power supply and speaker.  However, I did get the Buckingham cabinet, all the escutcheons, and all the knobs.  The owner is looking for the rest of it, at his brother's house.  I also bought a Philco 680 early version, missing the chassis.  He's looking for the rest of that, too.  I may have to hit up Kent King to buy another power supply chassis and speaker!

Hi Alex, glad you got it. I did not see the chassis peeking out behind the dial glass, or I might have been tempted to buy it. I did not see the philco 680 cabinet, It should be a good set if you can get the chassis. I am surprised that let these go at a rather cheap price.
Anyhow, glad you got it

regards

The Philco was less than $100, but the Scott was more.  It was still a bargain, though.  I'm pretty happy with both....I'll be more happy if he can find the rest of each of the radios.  I will be paying him more, if he finds that stuff, just to be fair.

Alex, if you ever want to sell the philco 680 cabinet, I would be very interested

thanks

bruce

I'm still waiting to see if I can get the chassis, from the family of the owner.  I'm supposed to hear back, after Thanksgiving, when they can get into his house and look.  The 680 is one of my bucket list sets.

ok, thanks
