The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

The only Scott offering that displayed the chassis was the Napier Consolette cabinet on which the Scott tuner chassis sat. This cabinet was available with the Allwave Deluxe, Fifteen, and Full Range High Fidelity (AKA AW-23) models only. A couple Napier consolette copies have been made by collectors over the years. The radio museum in Bellingham has a Philharmonic on a Napier style cabinet with a cow catcher grill. The original owner of that set was a successful cabinet maker in Tacoma and the cabinet was of his own making. Going from recollection Scott displayed a Philharmonic chassis set on a chrome tubular steel and glass rack at a radio exposition in Paris but this was not available to the public.

Thanks Norm,
I found a Phantom Deluxe amp and tuner chassis (no speaker or cabinet) at an antique shop that I think he would sell for $400. It is on a stand and I wondered if it might be something that came from Scott.
Chrome appears pretty decent on this set. Does $400 seem reasonable for the two chasses? All knobs and tube shields are there.
