The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

I'm looking for a power cord for this one (it has a connector on one end.)  Anyone know where I can get one?  I'd like to get rid of the makeshift connections before I grab a "hot chassis"

Thanks,
Joe

Joe -

I would strongly recommend using an isolation transformer when working on an SLRM, even with a good (polarity) plug. I'll look to see if I have any extra connectors this weekend...

Kent,

Thanks for checking on this for me...and I appreciate your tip on the isolation transformer. Will do!

Joe, congratulations on your acquisition! Do let us know how your SLRM turns out. I recently acquired one of my own, and am looking forward to restoring it and using it for tuning the shortwave bands - that is, tuning in what stations are left on SW.

Still looking for an original connector for the power cord.  If I can't locate one soon, I might try to replace the chassis mount connector with one like is used on computers and monitors (3 pin female power cord).  Anyone either have an original replacement connector or know where I can find a chassis mount connector that would accommodate the newer computer/printer power cords?

BTW, I did jury- rig a power connection so I could test the SLRM.  It is super sensitive on AM, probably my most sensitive set. (I haven't tried SW yet though)
