Scott serial numbers

As most of you know, I've been gathering and analyzing Scott serial numbers for over 20 years. I have a couple requests....first, if you haven't sent me your serial numbers, please do. Also...if any of you have a confirmed date for a set/serial number, please send me that. There is a warranty tag on ebay at the moment, these are great, since they have the date and serial number on them. A letter with a date is also good confirmation. I would greatly appreciate any info you fellows can provide. I'll post more about serial numbers here in the future.

Saw this AW12 chassis (actually whole radio in a custom cabinet) on Ebay, don't know if you have the serial yet. Y-95 Also, there's a Type 20 SW adapter that is mint in the back of the cabinet. Seller doesn't know that the adapter doesn't go with the AW12. Maybe someone can persuade seller to sell the adapter separately. Located in Longmont, CO.

Seller knows now. The Orleans (1929-32) highboy cabinet was one of a number of cabinets offered by Scott.

Today I picked up a Laureate, serial # WW379

Thanks, a new number. WW-364 was built 7/25/41, so your set wasn't too long after it..probably August 1941. Was it in a cabinet?

I've got a Scott AM-FM Phantom Deluxe in Acousticraft cabinet with the tweeter option.  It is serial number PP-360.

I also just recently purchased a Scott 6T11A projection TV from 1948.  Its serial number is 935.

Yes, the cabinet is a New Oxford. It also came with a post-war FM converter. The tuner chassis has had a lot of repair work. Oddly enough, the loop antenna has the serial number in pencil and on a little sticker.

Thanks, that was a new number. Also, that is a very low number on the 6T11. Both are nice finds!

Hello-

I was visiting the Spark Museum in Bellingham, WA last weekend and received permission to post the serial number of their Philharmonic, AA-91.  They do not believe it has been shared with you before; my apologies if this is a repeat in your list.

I neglected to mention that the Philharmonic in the Spark Museum is a pointer-dial, mounted in a period-constructed custom cabinet that displays the receiver chassis on top.  It has a 15" pedestal speaker and the optional tweeters.

I also have a AW 15 Serial #  F-351

Funny fact...both those are new numbers for the records - and for both numbers, I had record of the set with the next higher serial number. That's unusual, I don't have a lot of consecutive numbers.
