"The meter would require a gentle tap on the case to get it in its correct spot. Once there it works great across the band. I see the magnet as a small washer type plate. Can the magnet be remagnetized? Thanks"

Hello, having some difficulty getting my allwave 23 tuning meter to work properly, it appears that the assembly is magnetized.Has anyone had a similar issue and were you able to resolve it. I can confirm the coil is not open. Is my best bet to just look for a replacement? ThanksSee More

Magnetic pickup output

Hello, hoping the group might have some suggestions. I want to connect my garrard with high output pickup to a AW 23. When I do the volume is off the charts and can't be lowered.Can anyone suggest a basic circuit to step down the voltage? The pickup has a DC resistance of approximately 6k. ThanksSee More

Garrard RC-50 Repair progress

I was recently gifted a Garrard RC-50 from a fellow collector on this site, thank you Robert. Thought I would provide an update with a question. I ultimately needed to shift the motor a bit to get the motor gears to mesh with the timing cam teeth, after aligning the timing marks the pickup arm functions as it should.I did notice that the pickup had its wires cut so I opened the pickup head to see what was inside.
