Kent,
I have acquired an AW15 Ser Nr R-302. It is a 55, 2A7 1st Detector/Mixer, has a two position Static Switch on the front and a variable tone control on the back. It only has one antenna post.

My Scott SLRM's serial number is 1841. It was acquired in September 1945 by my great uncle from Scott's Manhattan NYC retail sales outlet for $250.00.
I also have a Scott Navy RCH (Navy version of the SLR-12B) and a Navy RBO, I will provide thier serial numbers in subsequent posts,
Chris, AJ1G Stonington, CT
Chris,
Could you do a separate post about the set your Great Uncle purchased, and the story about his purchase, if you know details?
Scott Special Communications Receiver on eBay, JJ-257. I'm curious if that's one of the known examples, or a new one to show up?

I already had this serial number and set in my records.

The pointer dial Philharmonic, that I just bought, has a serial number of KK-228. It had the optional tweeters, and is in a Warrington cabinet.
Had that one already...thanks!

Hi all,
Yesterday, a friend and I found a Scott beam of light Philharmonic outside of Bakersfield, CA. The chassis was a mess (moused severely). But, the cabinet is quite repairable. He got the guts, I get the get the cabinet; eschuteon and all! Cost... $50!
Here the serial # to add to the database.
Are you sure this is a beam of light? The KK sequence thus far are all dial pointers. I have 3 Philharmonics that are in the immediate vicinity of this number.
Also, when does the serial number say the set was built? Thanks!
Scott
