EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Folks -

Awhile back I set up a shared "cloud" drive with Scott manuals and data. It had a long and ugly link...I have since obtained a much shorter web address for the files. All you have to remember now is this:

ehscott-radio.info

Try it out! I hope to add more files and data over the holiday break. My employer is closed from Dec 22 to Jan 2, I am looking forward to catching up on radio efforts!

Kent:

I have tried using your new link address several times. I get all kinds of information, but no obvious link to the Scott information pages. The old link, which I have bookmarked, leads directly to your information pages.

Thanks

Thom

hmm...that shorter link is nothing but an "alias" for the longer, uglier link. DO NOT put .com after this....it is in the TLD called .info. Adding .com will take you to info.com which is something else completely.

Kent

Ahh. Thanks, will try again.

Kent:

Just tried the link again. Google brings up a lot of sites for Scott, but still no direct link to your Scott web pages. I have not added .com to the address.

Thanks

Thom

hmm....do you know how to do a screen capture Thom? If so, please send a capture of your screen to kent3256@hotmail.com. Which browser are you using (it <shouldn't make any difference, but I've worked in IT for too many years....)

Kent

I tried it from several computers (even Apple and Linux)....all worked as expected. A screen capture (if you can do it) would greatly help...oh, and thanks for the feedback on it, it is appreciated. Things that are supposed to be simple on the internet are often not....

Kent

I thought I am the only one, for whom the link does not work....

All I get is:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

I use IE8.

The new, shortened address works fine for me. Firefox 17, Windows 8 Pro.

OK. That may be my problem. I am using OSX 10.4 and old versions of Safari and firefox.

Thom

Works for me on a 4 year old Mac with Safari -Dave
