Scott Philharmonic 30 tubes 1938 tunning indicator problem.

Hi folks.

My name is Juliano and I am from Brazil.

I verified the signal from valve 6H6 to pin 3 in tunning indicator (6E5), and it is OK. but the indicator is always fully illuminated, and it doesn`t change, doesn`t matter the intensity of the signal.

Does someone have the schematics for this radio? Or does…

The AW27

All...here is yet another one:

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/ele/4711884421.html

This makes the 18th AW27 set. In spite of this number (more of these exist than the pre-war FM tuner), there is no advertising, documentation or really anything on the "Baby-Q".

If you have any letters, documentation, an ad...if you have anything that might tell us more about the AW27,…

Question about original Scott owners.

Hello,

I am new to the list.  Our museum (www.museumofyesterday.org) just acquired our first Scott receiver (an A-15 Metro)  for our communications collection, and I am currently involved in restoring it. Since these were custom built radios, I was wondering if there exists anywhere a serial number listing of E.H. Scott's original clients who purchased sets.

I would like to find out who originally owned the set that we just…

Scott 510 console

I am a new member of this Scott enthusiast group.  Happy to be a member of your group.

I own a Scott model 510 console radio/phono.  It seems to be circa late 1940's.  It is in really good working condition.

Any information fellow members can share with me regarding this model would be really appreciated.

Small Hoard of EH Scott radios

Greetings to everyone.

I am a vintage audio enthusiast myself, but my primary focus are gear from the 50's - 70's. Restoring speakers and collecting gear from Sansui and Fisher, for the most part. My new area of interest is to branch out into tube amps, so I keep a look out for items so I can start tinkering around, but I am indeed a beginner.

A couple of months ago, I happened across a small hoard of gear that had been stored away 40 years ago in an outdoor shed. The…

Hello,

I'm new to this group, but not to collecting and restoring Scott radios.  Enjoy listening to my restored 800B and my most recent acquisition an AM/FM Philharmonic.  Like many of us over the years I've accumulated a number unfinished projects, cabinets and parts chassis.  Currently, I'm in the process of clearing out a storage unit. As I re-discover items would like to offer them to the group.  Will start with the parts chassis listed below.  As you will see the tubes, tube…
